Is the blackbook for $1049 a recurring offer? I am interested in getting one, but can't quite afford it (need one more pay period). What is the risk that these revs will be unavailable a month from now?

They come and go. I bought mine at that price about 10 months ago. Lately I haven't noticed them for less than $1149, but if you saw them for $1049 again then theres a good chance they'll be around here and there.

Yes, I have seen that deal at least one morning of every week for the past month.
