Question about Refurbished Computers

I was thinking about purchasing a refurbed Macbook, but was wondering...
Does Apple replace cases? Is there any scratches? I'm extremely anal about my computers and baby them. Any insight on this would greatly be appreciated.

Refurb'd by who? If it's from Apple, you have nothing to worry about. I convinced a coworker last week to get a refurb macbook since it's a lot cheaper and he had a lot of concerns about it not being "good enough".

Well he got it yesterday and brought it in and he was 100% satisfied. You couldn't even tell if the thing had been refurbished at all.

Refurb products are like-new, no scratches or anything like that.
