iPad Question about refurbished iPad

I have two questions and I hope you can enlighten me on them:

Do refurbished iPad work well and are worth the small discount?

Also, I live in Mexico City and I want to buy a refurbished unit form the US Online Apple Store. Do they ship to Mexico? (I don't want to buy on store.apple.com/mx, their prices are ridiculous)

refurbished iPads are as good as new ones. Yes, absolutely worth it.

I just got a refurbished ipad4 32 gig for 499 last week it looks and feels like a new iPad its well worth it . If it did not say refurb on the box I would say its new
