Hey guys,

I just sold my iPhone 3G on eBay. I did a factory reset without a SIM in the phone. I'm currently at the "No SIM card installed" screen. Am I OK to send the phone as-is? Did the reset finish successfully, or are there more steps in the reset after inserting a SIM? I'd rather send it without my phone# being activated on the phone.

Thanks!
Jared

If this is showing on your screen, then I'd say it's safe to send to the buyer:

THough if there's no SIM in the phone, then your number won't be activated in it. The SIM is required to make/receive calls with your number.

Yep. I have that image and then the "No SIM card installed" message over it.
