Question about Safari "find text" function

I remember in Safari 4.0.1 I really liked how you just typed whatever you letter you wanted to look for in text and it would automatically display those letters in a text.

But now in Safari 4.0.1 it's no longer possible - you'd have to use cmd+f function to open the little "search window"... Is there a way to bring the older way back?
