I can't seem to hear anything playing within Safari. Or any brower for that matter. I did all the basics like check my output in the the system prefernces and my volume etc... all seems ok.

Any ideas?

badum bum. Its strange because itunes works perfectly, I can hear everything else. Only stuff being played through a broswer is muted....

How about Quicktime files? Can you hear a file played in Quicktime?

hmm...yes I can now that I tried it. But playing music through those band web sites like PureVolume.com or Myspace.com doesnt work (even though they both worked a few days ago...

The only idea I can think off is to go to Safari's preferences, click the "Security" tab. Make sure that "plug-ins", "java", and all that is checked under "Web content"

Hope it helps :)
