when i used to save .gif files or avatars on my pc in my pictures folder, i would click on them and they would move. on my macbook pro, i save .gifs or avatars to a photo file on the desktop and it won't move when i click on it, it just shows the multiple scenes from the .gif file.

is there a way to get it to move like it did on my pc? thanks!!

Saving gifs.

I had a problem with this too, but then I figure out that if you follow these steps, it makes saving and re-posting .gif's really easy!

1. Right click (hold down the control button and click if you are on a trackpad) and go to 'copy image'.

2. Open text-edit and go up to 'edit' at the top of the screen and click 'paste'.

3. Paste the .gif onto text-edit and save it.

4. When you need to use the .gif again, just find the file you saved it as and copy it (step 1) and paste it wherever you need to use it.

Hope this helps!! :)

You can open .gif files in Quicktime and they will move automatically within the player.

Just set them to always open in Quicktime.
