I'm trying out a 4k 24" monitor with my 2018 MBP. The resolution the the "default" size is too big on the screen so I'm using a scaled size. My question is when using a scaled size is there any ratio that is better in terms of what is rendered on the display? For example the default starts by scaling the monitor in half. I'm currently using a resolution just below that that is 1.67 of the 4k resolution. Another setting is 1.5 of the 4k resolution. Are any of these ratios better than any other for any reason (pixel rendering, etc)? I'm assuming they are basically the same to the computer and overall performance seems fine. Just curious if I should expect any scaled ratio to render better on screen than any other one? (Obviously the default will render best but elements on screen are simply too big).

It's a bummer that there are basically no true retina monitors in the 22-24" size any more.
