Question about selling iMac

I purchased a mid 2011 27" iMac that I now want to sell. It came with Lion, but I have since upgraded to ML. It didn't come with a disc. How to I get it back to Lion ? I know I am not suppose to sell it with ML, but I dont know any other way to do it. When I upgraded to ML, I formatted the hard drive so Lion is not going to be on the recovery partition right ?

Thanks
Jason

Use this app from Apple to make yourself a 1GB USB recovery key. Option key boot from the USB key then start Disk Utility and select the disk drive brand name itself (like Seagate 1TB or whatever) and erase the entire drive. This will wipe Mountain Lion AND the Mountain Lion RecoverHD partition. Now quit and remove the USB key to restart. The system will see there is no recovery partition or OS and the firmware will start its own routine to add a new recovery partition and reinstall the default OS that came with the system... in your case Lion.
