Question about setup of 1 iMac and 2 iPhone on separate user accounts!

I really need some help here as searching didnt yield me results.

What I would like to do is this

I have an iMac I have a user account and my wife has a user account on the iMac. I have an iTunes setup on mine which i sync my iphone to. I Just got her an iPhone also that i want to sync with her User account which has her music etc. We want to use 1 itunes store account.

Is it possible to set up the iphones in this manner? (We would like to share the apps pretty much nothing else) Help here is appreciated. Thank in advance
