Question about Summerboard themes

I download themes and they show up in the Uninstall section of installer but they dont show up in the Summerboard app, even after shutting down and restarting. Does anyone know why?

SSH into your iphone or ipod touch and make sure the themes are being saved to /var/mobile/library/summerboard/themes and make sure the permissions are set to 755.

Some of those themes do not work with 1.1.4 -- well, they do, but they are just put into a different directory on the file system.

Here is the old: /private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes
Here is the new: /private/var/mobile/SummerBoard/Themes

Check the old by SSH into your phone to see if it was installed there.
