I always buy my phones from apple at full price and I just notice I bought the t-mobile version from apple store will this phone come locked to t-mobile? I need it to work in AT&T and in Mexico. Thanks in advance

In that case I get my phone and just never activate it with t-mobile? Just pop in my regular AT&T sim and I should be fine?
why would anybody then pay for the 829 version?!
I never get the carrier one because of how the credits work. I get the non-carrier one and do a trade in and just pop in my sim. But yea it should work.
It's possible that your iPhone will have an eSIM per this article. This seems to be the first year that carrier phones sold by Apple will not have a physical SIM card. I'm sure you can still just put in your physical AT&T nano SIM card and it should work? I'm not very familiar with eSIM.
