question about the crossgrade...

hey

is it possible to buy an used final cut pro 5 with serial number, send that fcp5 dvd in and get the whole universal crossgrade for 99 dollars?

what are the chances that this would work out? does it have something to do with wheather its registered or not?

It doesn't matter who bought it or registered it as long as you have the disc.

This is the exact route I took! I bought FCP5 on ebay for £300 and the crossgrade for £69. I just need to get home and load it on!
