in my obsessive waiting for the launch/ pre order/ what have you of the white iphone 4, be it thursday, next week, or never, besides refreshing the page, can I trust using the Apple store App? Will it essentially update as quick as the regular site?
Also, will it "go down" to be updated as does the website on usual occasions?

thanks- first post woot!

I would trust Apples main site instead of the app, just my thoughts. And the rumor is the most likely ship date is July 30.

What if you dont have enough money on the day orders begin? And you only get paid a few days later, but by then they sold out of orders already?

The only way they are doing orders right now is through credit cards only, not debit cards or cash (according to my AT&T store). This is why I am so far unable to buy one. So if you have a credit card you are in luck

What about a debit card with a line of credit attached to it?
This could be bad for me, now that this topic has came up...

I think you'd be ok then. I know I have to wait till they are in stock or hope for an in-store release of a white iPhone next week :/
