Okay I have an iPhone 4S and an iPod nano 4th gen. Both are on shuffle mode.

On the iPod nano after it has played through a few songs and I want to choose a new song when I go back to the list it will be at the song I chose first in the list.

On the iPhone after it has played through a few song and I want to choose a new song when I go back to the list it will be at the song currently playing in the list.

Why is this?? On the iPhone when I go back to the list I want it to show where I first started like the iPod nano does. Otherwise I have to scroll all the way back down or up to where I was originally.

Does this make sense? If I could show a visual I would. I don't recall it ever doing this prior to iOS 6 and I've always had it on shuffle mode.
