Question about the JBL Flip

I just got the JBL Flip, I was able to linked these Bluetooth speakers with my IPhone 5 and II have been able to play my music on this wireless speakers. My problem is that I don't seem to be able to keep playing music with these speakers while they are plugged to the adapter to charge. My question is: is there a way to keep playing music with the JBL flip while it's being charged or not? How do I do it?
