Question about the Touch Bar

Hi all,

I'm struggling with something in regards to the Touch Bar. Imagine I'm playing a song from iTunes and at the same time I start watching a youtube movie in Safari. It seems to me there is no way to actually pause the song from iTunes since the media controls will only relate to the Safari youtube movie I'm watching.

The only way to actually pause the song is going to iTunes and manually hit pause. Before the Touch Bar, pause always mean pausing the current song regardless of which app I was on.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Does the this icon not show up for you on your Touch Bar? Tapping this would bring up the control to pause the iTunes music while the video on YouTube is playing.
