Hello there! So this being a Christmas gift and my first Apple Watch I'm still learning little tricks and what not. I have a question regarding the workout app. Normally when I do something that might be considered a workout I go into the app myself and start the workout myself. I pick the closest activity listed to what I am doing. My question is, say I do something like laser tag (I'm going with friends to play tomorrow) will the watch automatically trigger that as a workout once it notices I'm moving around a lot or do I still need to go into the workout app and start a workout to trigger it? Thanks in advance for your help!

The complete list of workouts you can choose under "Other" (or at least it looks like it) is posted here:

Maybe I'd choose HIIT or Play (is that really on the list?) for Laser Tag.

Thanks guys for the responses. It looks like the watch did indeed automatically log it as a workout. That list is pretty exhaustive though. I didn't realize there were so many options. I think play might be the best choice for laser tag in the future though. However, again, it did auto log it for me this time.
