How would a full restore or migration work if I have two Macs backing up to the same network drive? The videos I've watched don't seem to have a screen where you select the correct backup folder, the software seems to find it automatically. However, I doubt most of these people are backing up multiple Macs, so they probably only have one backup folder per drive. I just want to make sure that I won't have any problems should I ever need to replace a drive or when I decide to purchase a new Mac.

My wife and I share an external drive for Time Machine. I did a full restore to her Mac when I replaced her drive with a SSD. There was no issue selecting "her" backup instead of mine. I don't remember if it prompted me but I think so. Carry on with confidence. It'll work if you need it.
