iPhone 12 Question about trade in is it with Verizon or Apple?

I traded my iphone X for the iphone 12 and see the tracking shows delivered to Apple March 17th. How long does it take for the credit to post? I honestly do not know if I should contact Verizon or Apple. I called Apple to get who recommended I go through Verizon as they had a better deal. I paid $200 deposit on the phone and supposed to get at least $250 for my phone off the cost of the iphone 12. I could have gotten more off but refused to switch my cell phone plan from the 55 plus. The box to mail it in came from Apple, I picked up the phone at an apple store. I honestly know I should be patient but it drives me crazy the unknown. Should I call Apple or Verizon when the times comes?

Be patient. A human has to open and inspect the phone. If you sent it to Apple, then that is who will issue your rebate. You’ll probably get an email sometime next week.

you will get a gift card from apple. Verizon is not involved at all. If you use the apple card to finance, than it's applied right there, no gift card.

I don't think so I'll get a gift card but a credit. I was told my monthly payments will be just $17.99 because of the trade in and my deposit. The phone price total is $429.00 for the next 24 months. I want to pay this off when I finally get my stimulus (if I ever get it)

Relax and give it some time. If you can’t help yourself, call Apple.

Got the email. Sure doesn't seem like much but I used it for a long time and it still looked amazing. I am relieved.
