question about unlimited data plan. one line has data the other does not.

the line (we'll call it Line 1) that does NOT have data (at all, its a flip phone) is the line eligible for an upgrade.

I had done this before but forgot the process of getting the iPhone on Line 1 on the website but avoiding the data plan and just popping in Line 2's SIM card.

I believe it was something like online ordering, then calling in when the phone arrives to cancel the data plan on Line 1.

Thereby sticking with the unlimited plan from way back.

Confirm. As long as line 2 has the data attached to it there should be no problems.

You should also be able to remove the data plan on Line 1 using the carrier website.
