Question about UPC/Rebate

I ordered a MBP this week along with a printer for the free printer deal and an iPod for the $200 credit deal; my question, will i need the UPC again in the future for my MBP? because of the fact we have to cut it out for the rebate?

you won't need the upc for anything. the only real information on it was the product code and serial number, both of which are easily accessible. the only thing is that you probably can't return it, but that's about it.
