Question about updating

I am jailbroken on 4.1 and plan to update to 4.2 is it recommended to restore first before updating? If I update without restoring will there be any performance issues?

well 4.2.1 is out now and available to download and install
just plug in your iphone and hit update, and it will do all the work for u, it will unjailbreak ur phone and update it to 4.2.1.

just know i dont think a 4.2.1 isnt out yet for JB

iphone_dev FW 4.2.1 is public..don't accidentally accept upgrade offer from iTunes! Be sure to have 4.1 SHSHs before window closes!

If you dont care about the JB then you can go to stock 4.2 thru either update or restore.

Ok thanks for the replies! I originally wanted it for the print functionality but I don't think it's worth it to unjailbreak so I'll wait. Thanks
