Hey everyone - I have an AppleTV that is 4th generation - no probs - and I have a great 4K TV that I recently started streaming TV via DirecTVNow. It works great. But I'm curious if it may be worth upgrading to the newest AppleTV with the image quality. I have been reading, and it seems it has to be.
I just want to make sure I am not going to pointlessly waste money while I just stream TV over the internet that isn't even the quality that the AppleTV can make.

Thanks!

Like with any streaming service - the quality is not under your control.
iTunes Store content has been slowly pgraded and growing and is already good quality for many on a number of titles.
On the other hand - technically the platform is solid and capable. So if you have your own media, you can get very good results.
In my opinion, HDR video is a much bigger improvement than going from 1080p to 4K.
