I just bought a new 13.3" 2.53 GHz MBP. I'm running OSX Version 10.5.8. Since I'm new to macs and I've never upgraded before. What should my procedure be like tomorrow when I install Snow Leopard?

I'm preparing my laptop to do a clean install if that's the correct way but I'm not sure how this upgrade works.

The simplest way for you is to follow the instructions. SL will (standard install) Archive and Install SL. That is the simplest way and that is what I plan on doing. I would though, before you do anything, backup all your stuff on an external HDD.

I'd like to do a clean install if the SL disc will allow it. I have everything ready, and my files are on a external disc
