If I were to buy a 4-port USB 3.0 hub and connect 2/3 USB 2.0 devices would all of those device be capable of running at max 2.0 speeds?

I'd assume that they would since 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0. I don't think the hub would prevent it from working, but it's always nice to double check.

Should work fine but I have heard certain devices just dont work well with any hubs. I have heard things like external harddrives/flashdrives sometimes will freeze up. Also I have heard syncing you iDevices can be a problem through a hub. Make sure to read reviews on Amazon before buying because some work better than others.
