When my USB stick has no more free space and I delete all the files on the stick my memory stays the same. Is there a way i can get my full memory spece back on my Usb ? Otherwise I have to format it on a pc everytime it has no more free space ...

Does any one know what i need to do ?

The USB stick is a 8 gb Imation.

Thnx .greets Florenzo

why should that make a difference ?
If I empty my stick on my mac and I use it somewhere else the memory of the stick is still like it was when it was full exept there is no file icons I can see...

thanks already for a reply

When you delete the contents of your stick, they go in the Trash on the stick. If you don't empty the trash while it is still connected to the computer, the Trash is still full on it, so you don't gain any storage space. You have to empty the Trash while the stick is connected for the files to be deleted from the stick's Trash, and your space will be returned to you.
