Question about usernames in iCloud/Family Share

I have two daughters....They both use their gmail address as their Apple ID. They are separate from my Apple ID and we dont share anything.

In the process of setting up family sharing, I noticed it named both of my daughters with my name vs theirs. It also used my oldests icloud.com address (which she doesnt use) for the family share piece. What would cause this?

I had ask similar issue. My guess was that it was pulling the name from the carrier account name or a credit card on file. In settings, you can touch on the name and change it.
