I'm getting the baseline 15" MBP tomorrow and I noticed they switched back to having separate Audio In, Audio Out jacks as opposed to them being combined on the 2010 version.

Will I be able to use my iPhone headphone's mic during facetime/ichat video calls or will I have to use the one built into the MBP? Thanks!

It's always been like that, the audio in is a line input, not microphone input, the headphone jack is still supposed to support microphone from iphone headset, as per http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/specs.html

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

That's exactly what I wanted to know. I must have overlooked it. Thanks for the quick reply!
