Question about Verizion service

So if I buy 2 iPhones with Verizon and do the Edge service the cost is

$100 for 10GB data plan
$15 per line (standard is $40/line).

If you use Edge (the financing program), they cut $25 a line to make it $15/line

My questions is, if I buy phone outright and don't use the financing program, do I still pay $15/line or am I stuck paying $40/line?

Why not use Edge then pay it off in a few months? That way you get the discount and don't have to make payments for 20 months.

My question is, does the $15/line only apply if I am financing a phone, what if I bring my own phone that i bought from Craigslist or something.

It's cool to do the 0% financing, but i'd rather have a lower monthly expense and pay the $650 upfront.

Also, there is a 3rd iPhone that is Verizon we will sign-up, and I wan to know if that 3rd phone would be $15 or $40/line.

I believe once you have fulfilled your edge agreement, the plan price goes back to normal

I was in the local verizon store today and asked these questions. After going through a couple of folks who were not sure i found someone who i felt knew what i was asking and also knew the answer.

Yes, you can pay for the phone out right and still get the $25.00 discount. The discount is for anyone off contract or on the edge program.

Question about Verizion service

I did BYOD to Edge. Since Edge requires financing, the authorized retailer had me finance $1.

In addition, only never-activated phones can be added to Edge.

Lastly, I also purchased 2 contract phones. They share my 10 GB, and are $40 line charge each.
