There's that term again.. Jump ship. You know it really is kind of funny how people are always trying to cut price corners with the iPhone and take advantage of loopholes.

Bad ESN verizon iphones (which I'm assuming you're going to buy) aren't that great of a deal, and certainly not worth the hassle to flash it. I'd say get an AT&T iphone 5 when it's released.
