question about Verizon no contract Iphone 5

Some news have confirmed that verizon iphone 5 is unlocked when purchased at full price. But it's just can be used under GSM or HSPA+ network. How about CDMA network? I means if I travel to other country, could I use local CDMA sim card?

Im pretty sure it's completely unlocked so you would be good to go. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Also you don't have to buy off contract if you don't want to. The on contract one are unlocked as well.
