Hello,

I'm planning on upgrading my studio machines to a Mac Pro and MacBook Pro.

I'm going to go through a local place because they do trade-ins for old machines. The only thing I was wondering was if I could buy Apple Care afterwards, like a month or two afterwards or do I have to buy it right then?

Or could I buy it a month or two after and then activate it?

Thanks for any info.

you have up to one year to get applecare but you have to get it before the 1 years ends.

Your normal 1 year warranty lasts for 1 year. If you plan on getting AppleCare you have to purchase it and probably activate it before that 1 year passes. If you are a student buy it at the education store and you'll receive a decent discount ;p
