question abt macbook pro and Quicktime player

hey guys i got the newest macbook pro and i want to know if it came with quicktime pro player? or did it just come with the basic free one?

also i wanted to play this video but this is what came up

The document “Composition_Of_Functions-1.wmv” could not be opened. The movie is not in a format that QuickTime Player understands.
You may need to install additional software to open this type of file.

if it didnt came with quicktime pro player do u think it i get it, then will i be able to play the video?

QuickTime X should have come with your computer, and as far as I know it's analogous to QuickTime 7 Pro.

To play WMV files you'll need Windows Media Components.

just wanna know...do u think that quicktime pro is better than quicktime x?

I say "as far as I know" because I don't have Snow Leopard. They should have the same feature set, anyway.

i install Windows Media Components. Flip4Mac and i tried to play the same video that i did be4 but nothing comes up...

what should i do?

i tired flip4mac WMV studio pro HD but this is what is coming up

The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -19160.)



the free version didn't work so i tried this... and this still isn't working..
what is wrong?

You might have more luck with VLC.
