I've been searching and scouring tuaw, gizmodo, engadget, the iphone dev team's site, and hackintosh, but I can't find a definitive answer.
Does anyone know the difference between unlock methods?
Specifically, is anySim just a GUI wrapper for iUnlock? I unlocked my iPhone the night iUnlock was first released using the instructions on iphone.unlock.no (the manual method). I've read somewhere (I've been reading so much) that the iUnlock method of unlocking was similar to iPhone Sim Free's method, which might lead me to believe that it would be OK to update because iPSF users have been OK. (I've always used AT&T-I only unlocked because I was curious/crazy.)
But clearly, anySim users have been having problems. Can anyone clear all this up? (I know the verdict is to wait for updated software from the dev team, but I'd like to know.)
Thanks!
