Question as far as family plans and upgrades.

OK I have a question when it comes down to family plans and the upgrades. Specifically for the iphone, lets say i have 3 lines all bought iphone 3g at the same time. The primary account holder gets the early upgrade for the iphone 3gs, the other 2 guys have to wait till december. Now, if the primary users takes that subsidized pricing of $299 and extends the contract for 2 more years, does that effect the other 2 lines on the contract meaning they are locked in for another 2 years as well and then when they take there upgrades and sign another 2 years thats a total of 6 years?!

Update: Family contracts dont add together, each person is considered a individual.

No..that isn't how it works.

Each line has its own contract...they don't add together.
