Hi all! :)
I'm new to Mac's World and this year I'd like to pass from Windows to Mac (I can't stand Windows anymore).
This fall I'm going to college and so I need a new laptop for studying and, in case, also playing some games in my free time.
The question is: How is Macbook Pro top - end 15" in games?
I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just would like to play some games when I can. ;)

Thanks anyway for your help!

I have the 2011 high end 15 in and it works great! I'm able to play steam games (Civ5/Portal/Conviction/Team Fortress) without a hitch.

Thank you for the answer. :)
That's what I wanted to hear. I love Macbook Pro's style and I need a notebook that does everything I want fine.

I have a 17" with upgraded ram, which is comparable to the high-end 15"... it plays just about everything great, most of them running at native resolution and with the graphics on high too. :)

If you're going to college why would you be playing computer games?

You should either be studying or getting drunk at frat parties.

I have a late 2008 MBP, and I can still play all the games they are talking about without a hitch. (15/17in) MBP are the bomb!

Well, obviously. ;)
Anyway, sometimes, in my free time, it's possible that I play some games. :D
