Hey there,

I've read a few threads around here saying that the Apple Genius bar has some kind of software to detect if your iPhone has been jailbroken before, even if the phone is wiped and restored, even if the phone isn't currently JBed, and they won't service it because of a previous jailbreak.

Is that true or what? I'm planning to jailbreak my phone, but just wanted to know before I kick myself. I may need to have my phone's battery looked at, getting some pretty bad charges.

Thanks in advance.
