iPod touch Question before replacing my Dell Axim ppc

I will be syncing the touch with my home macmini.
Can I download/update my podcasts when I am on the road thru a wireless connection. I use this functionality all the time on my axim and will miss it if not available.

No.

Someone very recently wrote an app that sounded like it'd do exactly that, but Apple barred it from the App Store saying "it duplicated already existing functionality". There's a pretty huge negative reaction currently happening regarding that decision (on forums and blogs), so hopefully Apple will reconsider.
