Hey everyone,

So, today I set up my college e-mail address with my father's account (he's had an iPhone 3G since a month or two before the 3G-S came out).

Now, I will be purchasing an iPhone tomorrow and extending my father's service plan to a family plan to include the two of us. I have multiple Apple gift cards that I will be using toward the purchase of a 3G-S.

Will I be able to purchase the iPhone at the Apple store and simultaneously initiate the family plan and the premier discount?

If not, can I purchase the iPhone for the subsidized price at the Apple Store, then go to an AT&T store to do everything else? And if the AT&T store isn't able to activate the premier discount, will I then be able to call AT&T and have them do it?

There's a lot of factors here, so I apologize for any confusion. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
