I did a clean install when i downloaded snow leopard onto my new mbp but unfortunately iPhoto didn't install. Is it possible to just install a few applications from the DVD provided with the laptop or is it all or nothing?? i really don't want to clog up my memory with applications i never use.....
Thanks!

If I remember correctly, Iphoto is in your other disc that comes with your macbook.

Search the box.

Yes you can choose which apps you would want and not want to install under the advance option

iPhoto (and the other iLife apps) are not on the Snow Leopard retail disk. They are only on the grey install disks that ship with each new Mac. Put in the grey disk and there will be an option to install chosen apps.
