In the last entry on the macrumors page, it says something along the lines of "iPod touch users will have to wait for Tocuh 2.0" (sorry, forgot to quote and not going back to do so) Anyway, My question is is there such a thing as Touch 2.0? Isn't iPhone 2.0 for iPhone AND the iPod Touch? I'm not trying to make people look wrong or anything, just trying to clear things up for myself and others. Thanks in advance!

No, there are 2 branches of the firmware. The iPod has no use for any of the cellular (phone) based features and Apple doesn't include it in the Touch firmware.
