Apps Question concerning the Top Shelf Feature of the iTunes Movies App

Hi there,
I have never bought any movie with my account. I have seen at someone else’s AppleTV that the top shelf feature of the iTunes movies app shows your bought movies before showing trending ones.

Does the app show the purchased movies all the time in the top shelf? It would be really annoying because i like seeing new and trending movies in the top shelf but would hate if the purchased movies would be presented there every time.

It only shows your last 3 of your most recent purchases, all the rest are the 25 Top Films.

Yes, they disappear but I'm not sure how long it takes before they disappear.
