So, I'm still learning a lot about NVMe drives and what's available in the market, I have heard about NVMe PCIe cards that can accept up to 4 cards in a raid. But my question is...

Is there a single dual-slot NVMe PCIe card that would show up a two drives on the Mac?

for example.

I have two 500gb NVMe cards, each one is on a single slot pcie card on my Mac. I want to put both blades on one pcie card so I can open up an extra pcie slot on my Mac, I still want both blades to be its own drive.

AFAIK most of the 2-card options available [0] accept 1 NVMe drive and one AHCI drive that is fed from an attached sata connector. In order for a card to accept 2 NVMe drives it needs to implement a PCIe switch like the Amfeltec card [1] does. Another option which may work is the IO-Crest SI-PEX40129 adapter [2] which includes an asmedia 2824 pcie switch.
