Question for 15" MBP owners (hi-res models)

I'm thinking of selling my 27' iMac as I'm going to need something portable in the coming months. I've really grown accustomed to the extra screen real estate, and often have two web pages, or two word documents up side-by-side. Can the hi-res models do this? I'm assuming it would be a bit of a squeeze, but if any owners could post some screen shots that would be great, my nearest Apple store is over an hour away.

You can fit about 1.75 pages on the screen side-by-side in the HR version.

If you can afford it, I would maybe get the 27" screen or any other external monitor to hook it up to the laptop. Best of both worlds.
