Question for 2008 owners who had optical drive replaced

My 2008's optical drive is kinda wonky, won't read some discs that play fine in other optical drives. It happens to be the crappy Optiarc drive. Since I'm still under AppleCare (2 months left), I'm considering giving them a call to get a replacement sent.

If anyone out there with a 2008 has had his/her optical drive replaced under warranty by Apple, what model drive was it replaced with?
