He just bought a smartphone about 5 mo ago and signed a new 2 year contract...Is he still able to get the Iphone for 199 and then sign a new contract he is an At&T customer now

He can still get an iphone 3g but he has to pay the early upgrade fee, which is 399.00 and 499.00 respectfully

If he got the smart phone for a subsidized price (more than likely he did) than no, he can't.


If he hasn't, he needs to create a login at wireless.att.com . Then he can look there to see if he is eligible, or he can just call. If he did pay the full price for the phone, then he is eligible.
