Question for iMac Pro owners about ECC memory

The iMac Pro has ECC memory, which is why I am considering getting one.

What I'd like to know from any iMac Pro owners is:

1. Are the ram modules registered (buffered) or unregistered?

2. Are you able to see posted ECC logs in the bios or OS anywhere? In other words, are you able to monitor the ECC actually working?

Its registered from what I'm seeing about the part number. No idea if there is somewhere you can see the logs.
