Other Question for newcomer to iPhone upgrade program

Hello. I was looking into getting a new iPhone and starting the iPhone upgrade program. My main question was could I make a account today and have it ready for when I preorder on the 14th or will I have to wait to make that account until I am purchasing the phone on preorder day. I would just like to be able to have everything ready so when preorder time comes I can check out ASAP.

I think you can get approved now and wait it out till the pre-order. However, they could always change up the program, so approval now is no means a guarantee around pre-order time.

From what I have been reading. Once the announcement is made Apple will
Allow you to be pre approved so that on the Friday you can preorder with just 1 step. Pre approval would have been done already.

You may want to have a Chat with Apple on how to join. Unless Apple changed the policy, I'm not aware that you can get approved now for a device that doesn't yet exist [Edit] or get pre-approve if you not yet enrolled. AFAIK, those who are currently enrolled in the iUP, can get the pre-approval ahead of the pre-order, once Apple announces the product that is.
