Well after spending a week now looking at all kinda shapes and sizes of iPad covers I've determined that, sadly, none of them are perfect for what I want. However I've narrowed it down to two top contenders, but before deciding I want a couple more answers.
For the Switchtalk Canvas:
1) Does the extra bulk of it get annoying after a while, or is it not really an issue? How bout when the cover is folded back in "book mode"
2) How well does stand mode work? In all the review videos I see it looks very flimsy, as if a light touch will send it sliding down. Do the rubber feet wear out after time and lose their grippyness?
3) How strong are the magnets that hold the cover closed? Will it always pop up when putting it down or moving it around?
Now for the STM Skinny 3:
1) Are there still issues with the auto-wake magnets? I've heard a lot of people saying they where put in backwards, or that they where glued in under a patch of microfiber, but those where all from a few months ago after a bad batch of cases, I'm hoping the issues with manufacturing have been worked out and this is better now.
2) Does the cover stay shut even without strap tucked down? Are the magnets strong enough for that, or is it just the one small magnet for auto-wake?
3) Does the back lay flat against the case in book mode, and can anyone take a picture of this? I've seen a lot of back and forth of yes it can, no it can't, but I have yet to see picture proof of the Skinny 3 version.
4) How well does the strap work after a bit of wear and tear? Does the material stay "grippy" enough to hold it closed, or will it keep coming undone?
And that's all of my questions. Sorry, probably a bit annoying but I obsess about all the details before I buy anything more than 20 bucks.
Thanks for the help!
